Reginald and Lena Palmer, Their Collection, and the Oriental Ceramic Society, 1921-1970
London’s world-famous Oriental Ceramic Society was first founded in 1921. To mark the Centenary anniversary, Bonhams Chinese Art department is honoured to host a special loan exhibition entitled ‘Reginald and Lena Palmer, Their Collection, and the Oriental Ceramic Society, 1921-1970’. The exhibition includes more than thirty outstanding examples of Chinese ceramic and works of art, which will be on display, collected by the successful English businessman Reginald Palmer and his wife Lena, most of which were included in early exhibitions by the Society.
