The Monaco Sale 'Les Grandes Marques à Monaco'

One of only 140 examples built, this 1968 Aston Martin DB6 Volante will be offered at the Monaco Sale 'Les Grandes Marques à Monaco' in Monte Carlo on 23 April 2021.
Featuring a five-speed manual transmission model factory-fitted with the optional power-assisted steering, this DB6 Volante was first registered on 9th May 1968 in London. From there, the DB6 was a destined for greatness with a stellar Concours history, as documented in the Aston Martin Owners Club Register: 1982 Hendon Concours, Club Trophy; 1989 Silverstone Horsfall Concours, Volz Trophy; and 1990 Silverstone Horsfall Concours, 4th in Elite Class. In 1993 the DB6 featured in Fast Lane magazine (August edition) in an article on Volantes complementing the Aston Martin Virage road test.
Well maintained throughout the years, this DB6 has benefited from a full engine rebuild by Aston Martin Works in February 2021, as well as routine servicing that has retained the mechanical condition of the car. Finished in Rolls Royce Coffee Bean Brown with Bridge of Weir (magnolia) hide upholstery, this is truly an elegant example that would complement any collection.
